C# - WCF wsDualHttpBinding의 ClientBaseAddress 속성 - 두 번째 이야기

지난번에 쓴 내용을 좀 더 보강해 보겠습니다.

사실 wsDualHttpBinding은 서비스 메서드 내에서 콜백을 호출하지 않아도 Temporary_Listen_Addresses로의 접속을 시도합니다. 즉 WCF 서비스는 헤더 값에 실린 Temporary_Listen_Addresses로 무조건 연결 시도를 하는 것입니다. 심지어 ServiceContract에 CallbackContract를 지정하지 않아도 마찬가지라는 점입니다. 그냥 다음과 같은 계약의 서비스를 구성하고,

클라이언트에서 wsDualHttpBinding으로 단순 메서드 호출을 하는 것으로도,

클라이언트 측의 wsDualHttpBinding은 Temporary_Listen_Addresses를 구성해서 서비스 호출에 헤더로 전송하게 되고, 만약 WCF 서비스 측에서 그 주소로 접근할 수 없는 상황이라면 다음과 같은 식의 예외가 발생하게 됩니다.

더욱 재미있는 것은, 클라이언트 측의 연결 객체를 명시적으로 .Close 해주지 않으면 WCF 서비스 측은 그 연결에 대해 지속적으로 확인 체크를 한다는 것입니다. 실제로 다음과 같이 클라이언트 측에서 호출해 주고 종료해 버리면,

이후 procdump를 이용해 WCF 서비스 측의 예외를 모니터링하고 있으면 다음과 같은 로그가 반복 출력되는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

[22:45:39] Exception: E0434F4D.System.Net.Sockets.SocketException ("A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond")

위의 로그 시간을 보면 45분에 처음 발생했는데, 이후 간격을 두고 10분 동안 몇 차례에 걸쳐 로그가 출력됩니다. (상황으로 보면 10분 동안 유지되는 듯 합니다.)
