PowerShell - Start-Service 명령 오류 (Service 'xxx' cannot be started)

예를 들어, SQL Server 서비스를 다음과 같이 PowerShell에서 시작하려고 하는데,

PS> Start-Service  MSSQLSERVER

이런 오류가 발생합니다.

Start-Service : Service 'SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)' cannot be started due to the following error: Cannot open MSSQLSERVER service on computer '.'.
At C:\temp\startdb.ps1:9 char:1
+ Start-Service  MSSQLSERVER
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    + CategoryInfo          : OpenError: (System.ServiceProcess.ServiceController:ServiceController) [Start-Service], ServiceCommandException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CouldNotStartService,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.StartServiceCommand

원인은, "관리자" 권한으로 스크립트를 실행하지 않았기 때문입니다. 보통 이런 경우 기존 윈도우 명령행의 net start 등에서는 "Access is denied"와 같은 문구가 떠서 금방 문제를 파악할 수 있는데... PowerShell은 오류 메시지가 영~~~ 시원치 않네요. ^^
