Nuget 패키지의 로컬 보관 폴더를 옮기는 방법

nuget의 기본 저장소 경로는 "%USERPROFILE%\.nuget"인데요, 저 같은 경우 7GB의 용량을 소비하고 있습니다. 아무래도 C 드라이브의 공간을 점유하는 것이어서 다소 부담스러운 경우도 있는데요.

이럴 때는 기본 경로를 환경 변수를 통해 바꾸는 것도 고려할 수 있습니다. 따라서 시스템 창을 열어(단축키 Windows Key + Pause) "Advanced system settings"로 들어가 "NUGET_PACKAGES" 환경 변수를 등록해 "D:\nuget_root" 등의 경로로 바꿔주면, 이후 nuget 패키지는 모두 그 폴더에 다운로드가 됩니다.

마지막으로, 파일이 잠길 수 있으므로 Visual Studio는 모두 종료하고 기존 nuget 저장소를 직접 삭제해 C 드라이브 공간을 확보할 수 있습니다.

저같은 경우는 시스템 환경변수에 NUGET_PACKAGES=E:\.nuget, NUGET_HTTP_CACHE_PATH=E:\.nuget_v3cache 설정후
환경변수 바로 적용을 위해
c:\>SET NUGET_PACKAGES=E:\.nuget
c:\>SET NUGET_HTTP_CACHE_PATH=E:\.nuget_v3cache

c:\>dotnet nuget locals all --clear

패키지가 삭제 안되어 수작업으로 "%USERPROFILE%\.nuget" 폴더내에 파일을 삭제하였습니다.
