Visual Studio 2010 - 웹 애플리케이션 생성 시 "The project type is not supported by this installation." 오류 발생 해결
다른 프로젝트들은 모두 괜찮은데, 유독 "ASP.Net 3.5 Web Application"만 생성하면,
다음과 같은 오류 메시지가 나타나면서 프로젝트 생성이 안됩니다.
The project file 'C:\Users\[user account]\AppData\Local\Temp\...\Temp\WebApplication1.csproj' cannot be opened.
The project type is not supported by this installation.
웹 검색을 해보니, 관리자 권한으로 다음의 명령어들을 치라고 하는데요.
- devenv /setup
- devenv /installvstemplates
- regsvr32.exe "%vs100comntools%\..\IDE\projectaggregator.dll"
- devenv /setup /resetuserdata /selfreg /resetskippkgs
모두 소용이 없었습니다. 오히려 마지막 명령어의 경우에는 "ASP.Net 3.5 Web Application" 템플릿을 아예 없애버리기까지 했는데요. 그래도 포기하지 않고 웹 검색을 한 끝에 기어이 ^^ 해결책을 발견할 수 있었습니다.

댓글에 보면, About 상자에서 "Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2010" 항목이 있는지 보라고 하는데요. 오호~~~ 실제로 제 경우에는 없었습니다.
그래서, Visual Studio 2010 설치 폴더에서 setup.exe를 실행시켜 "Add or Remove Features"를 선택한 후 다음과 같이 "Visual Web Developer" 항목을 선택해서 설치하는 것으로 문제를 해결했습니다.
