저 같은 경우에는 PNG 파일을 로드해서 IPictureDisp 인터페이스로 노출해주는 라이브러리가 필요해서 검색해 본 것인데, 운이 좋게도 소스까지 포함된 이 프로젝트를 발견하게 되었습니다.
