저도 Rijndael과 AES가 동일하다고 생각했었는데요.
이 글을 읽어보니 확실히 구분이 되는군요.

개략적으로 말해보면, AES 표준은 Rijndael 기능의 서브셋 정도라고 하면... 비슷한 의미가 될까요? 음... 서브셋이라기보다는 좀 더 정형화된 규격이라고 하는 것이 맞을 것 같네요. ^^
