안녕하세요, 최근 위 제목과 관련한 문제로 어려움을 겪고 있던 중 혹시 도움을 부탁드릴 수 있을까 해서 글을 남겨 봅니다.
문제를 개략적으로 설명하면 아래와 같습니다.
1. 저희 애플리케이션 (A라고 칭하겠습니다)는 특정한 경우 프로세스 A_proc을 실행시키고 WCF namedpipe를 이용하여 프로세스간 통신을 하고 있습니다.
이 때 namedpipe는
base address : "net.pipe://localhost/servicename/{47280BB5-44EE-49F0-B440-F83878349985}"
identifier : 0~5 (retry 횟수입니다)
로, 완성된 uri는 net.pipe://localhost/servicename/{47280BB5-44EE-49F0-B440-F83878349985}/0 과 같은 형식이 됩니다.
A는 일반 유저 권한으로 실행되고 A_proc을 실행하기 전 WCF host를 생성합니다.
A_proc은 -runas 파라미터로 실행되어 관리자 권한을 획득한 다음 실행됩니다.
보통의 경우 client(A_proc)은 문제없이 채널을 생성하고 A에서 생성된 host에 접속하고 있습니다.
2. 어플리케이션이 릴리즈된 이후 #1의 커넥션이 생성되지 않는 경우를 발견하게 되었는데, 타사의 어플리케이션 B가 다음과 같이 행동할 경우 문제가 발생함을 확인할 수 있었습니다.
- B는 일반 어플리케이션이 아닌 Windows Service로 작동
- Windows Service내에서 B는 namedpipebinding을 이용한 WCF Host생성
- namedpipe는
base address : "net.pipe://localhost"
identifer : any identifier
로, 완성된 uri는 "net.pipe://localhost/identifier"이지만 base address가 net.pipe://localhost로 최상위 endpoint address인 상태입니다.
이 때 B의 Service가 사용자의 시스템에서 실행중일 경우, A_proc의 클라이언트는 A의 Host에 접속하는 대신 B로 접속을 시도하고, service contract가 맞지 않기 때문에 preamble handshake에 실패하고 아래와 같은 exception stacktrace를 남기고 있습니다.

일반 소비자용으로 배포되는 어플리케이션이라 B가 어떤 어플리케이션인지 특정할 수 없고, 사용자에게 직접 연락해서 사용자의 시스템 상태를 확인하기도 어려운 상황입니다만, 이런 상황에서
1. namedpipe 충돌을 피할 수 있는 방법이 있을까요?
2. 접속하는 클라이언트 (A_proc) 쪽에서 위와 같이 실패했을 때, 접속을 시도한 host가 어떤 쪽인지 파악할 수 있는 방법이 있을까요?

p.s : 재현을 위해 간단하게 구현한 프로젝트를 첨부하였습니다. 총 3개의 프로젝트이며, 2개의 sln입니다.
1. localhost : Service B를 흉내낸 서비스 구현입니다. %systemroot%\microsoft.net\framework\v4.0xxxx\installutil 을 이용하여 서비스로 설치한 후 서비스를 구동하였습니다.
2. wcf test : A를 흉내낸 host 어플리케이션입니다. 일반 유저 권한으로 실행하여 host를 생성하였습니다.
3. wcf client test : A_proc을 흉내낸 클라이언트입니다. admin 권한으로 실행하여 host에 접속을 시도합니다.
