신규 테스트 서버를 구성하는데, 웹 사이트가 다음과 같은 오류 화면이 뜨면서 동작하질 않습니다.

그렇군요. ^^ 테스트 서버 구성이다 보니, ASP.NET 개발 구성을 IIS에 추가하지 않아서 발생한 문제였습니다. 그래서 다음과 같이 "ASP.NET 4.6" 항목을 활성화시켜주는 것으로 해결했습니다. ^^
