3개의 점을 지나는 원을 작도해 보겠습니다.

일단, 아무 데나 3개의 점을 찍습니다.

3개의 점을 원이 지난다는 것은, 결국 현의 중점을 그은 선이 만나게 됨을 의미합니다. 따라서, 각각의 점들을 잇는 선분과 그것의 수직 이등분선(Perpendicular Bisector)을 그으면,

교점 D가 바로 원의 중심이 됩니다. 또한, 세 점을 지나는 원이므로 당연히 그중 하나를 반지름으로 원을 Circle with Center through Point 도구로 그리면,

자연스럽게 3개의 점을 모두 지나는 원이 그려지게 됩니다. 지오지브라 앱의 기능을 이용해 다음과 같이 점을 이리저리 이동해 보면 원이 그에 맞게 변하는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
