Microsoft SQL Server 2019 RC1 Setup - 설치 제거 시 Warning 26003 오류 발생
"Microsoft SQL Server 2019 RC1 Setup"을 제거하는데 다음과 같은 오류가 발생합니다.
Warning 26003. Microsoft SQL Server 2019 RC1 Setup Support Files cannot be uninstalled because the following products are installed:
SQL Server 2019 RC1 XEvent
SQL Server 2019 RC1 Common Files
SQL Server 2019 RC1 Database Engine Shared

방법은 간단합니다. 오류 메시지에 나온 3가지 제품에 대해 다음의 레지스트리 키 하위에서 검색해 보면,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
GUID 값을 부모 키로 각각의 제품이 위치하므로 다음과 같이 msiexec를 개별 실행해,
msiexec /x "{guid}"
제거할 수 있습니다. 따라서, 제가 제거해야 할 제품들은 이렇고,
SQL Server 2019 RC1 XEvent == {458327F9-433A-4C63-92E1-F8BF2075CA4C}
SQL Server 2019 RC1 Common Files == {CBFC0492-9C0D-4CEE-BBCA-0FF382C655B8}
SQL Server 2019 RC1 Database Engine Shared == {E5C9C25B-4C87-4147-94EC-74B4CB326CF6}
명령행에서 이렇게 실행해 주면 됩니다.
msiexec /x "{458327F9-433A-4C63-92E1-F8BF2075CA4C}"
msiexec /x "{CBFC0492-9C0D-4CEE-BBCA-0FF382C655B8}"
msiexec /x "{E5C9C25B-4C87-4147-94EC-74B4CB326CF6}"
그런데, 마지막 제품 하나가 에러 코드도 없는 메시지와 함께 제거가 안되는군요. ^^;

다행히 이벤트 로그를 보면 좀 더 자세한 설명이 나옵니다.

실제로, 오류 메시지에 포함된 명령을 직접 실행하는 경우 다음과 같은 오류가 발생했습니다.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\AzureAttestService> AzureAttestServiceInstaller.exe -Uninstall

그렇다면 ^^ 그냥 일부러 설치를 해주면 될 일입니다.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\AzureAttestService> AzureAttestServiceInstaller.exe -Install "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\AzureAttestService\AzureAttestService.dll"
이후, 다시 msiexec /x "{E5C9C25B-4C87-4147-94EC-74B4CB326CF6}" 제거를 시도하면 정상적으로 완료가 됩니다.
